Rated 3 out of 5 by houstonred falls short of what we need the cooling element is good, however the exhaust hose is only 8 feet. According to product recommendations, trying to extend the hose will cause permanent damage to the unit. We needed it for work in portable buildings (pods), and if we put it near the one entry way (single door) the coolant doesn't reach working at the backside. Hose is just too short to cool larger areas. 08/12/2010

Rated 4 out of 5 by grtgrndma adequate someone stated that this product didnt go past 82 degrees and that is true but for whatever reason it does cool off a large area in an apt. I know my place was cooler than 82. The only thing I dont like is the emptying water part. but I have found a way to not have to empty as often. I raised the a/c enough to put the drain in a small bucket that held a lot of water, it works. Otherwise a great product. Fix the temp, make it waterless, got a great product. (so far) under 30 days old 08/28/2010
