Rated 4 out of 5 by deb1970 All of the screws and pieces were a little daunting, but once I got past the three hours of assembly time, I was very happy that I didn't give up. I haven't had it long enough to produce compost, but it is loaded and ready to go. Now that it is full it is a little difficult to turn. The instructions tell you how many pounds, but how does one measure that?I've been loading my upright composter for nearly two years now and the stuff at the bottom still doesn't seem ready. I'm hoping that (as advertised) this one will produce good quality compost much quicker. 01/31/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by GoingGreen51 great price, frustrating assembly Like most of the reviewers of this item, I found this composter difficult to assemble - the numerous little screws are hard to fit in, especially at the ends that fasten to the stand.Once done, I found the composter to be a good size. It was initially difficult to turn, but I find that it's getting easier with use. The handle is also getting a little easier to pull in and out.Don't know about quality of compost yet - I haven't finished filling the barrel with the right stuff yet, and it hasn't been long enough, but I'm happy with it so far. 05/13/2011

Rated 4 out of 5 by timcen Well constructed, easy to assemble. I assembled this, by myself, in a little oven an hour. A socket set and electric screw driver are very handy. Very sturdy once together and put in place. My bin is almost full and still easy to turn. 04/25/2012
