Purchased this storage box to use as an outside toy box for my daughter's toys. The box was simple to put together and is the perfect size. So far it has also kept her toys dry. I plan to order another one for storage of items on our deck.

    Exactly what I wanted

I've only had this a month, but it is exactly what I wanted. I put gardening spades, extra gloves, miracle grow and my kids' sand toys so that I wouldn't have to walk around to the garage. It is waterproof, has already survived two snow storms and was super easy to put together.

    • It rests shut. That is the only possible flaw I see. It looks like it should snap when shut, but my storage box does not. I am waiting to see how it holds up in a storm with high winds. I may attach a weight to the lid on the inside if it seems to be a problem. I saw no way to lock it.

    • It just rests shut and it is not possible to put a lock on it.

    • The lid gently snaps shut. It is not designed for a lock, but a clever person could probably figure out a way (you're only drilling through plastic).

    • It snaps shut, but is also very easy to lift open. Padlock would not work.

    • The lid rests shut but it seems heavy enough to stay down in windy weather. I don't think you can put a lock on it unless you first added 2 latches of some sort - 1 on the lid edge and another on the top of the front - onto which you could affix your lock.

    • the top just rests shut and no, it does not have locking capablity, you might try a bungey cord or a buckcled strap

    • Yes, it would fit an average person - however, I've never used it as a seat.

    • No this cannot be used as a seat. It is sturdy enough to hold your items but not to sit on. I don't think it would be very comfortable either.

    • No, I wouldn't reccommend sitting on it,unless you're a child. Then you would be able to sit very comfortably! (You probably could sit on it, but that's not what it's for! You also could possibly squish it!)

    • Wouldn't use it as it's primary purpose. There are no metal brackets or anything, only plastic. It does hold up well under weight though. My young children sit on it, and I have too, but not for any length of time.
