Rated 4 out of 5 by PrimeShopper1 A nice resin shed for the money. I picked it up at walmart site to store. It came in 3 boxes. Two of them fit in the back of the Dodge durango with the rear seat folded down and one went into the back of a pickup truck. We could have made two trips, so we drove two vehicles instead. They all could have fit into the back of a pickup but I had a cover over the bed that limited box height.Assembly was easy enough. Attach and screw together the floor sections and front and back edge plates. Put in the wall base supports, then start attaching the corner and a wall section, another wall section, a corner then two more wall sections, another corner, the final wall sections. Put the doors together and attach to the front edge plate. The roof supports front and rear, then the steel braces to hold the rest of the roof panels. Install the roof panels. Secure the zip ties to hold the roof to the steel braces. Put a lock on the doors and your done. It took two people about 4 hours, but we were taking our time. Most of it went together very quickly. Instructions were better than average. Pictures were good guide. I used a power screwdriver set to very low torque setting so it clutched before it stripped out the screws. The hardware was simple. Everything was plastic on sprus for the small parts, and one bag of screws. You didn't have to worry about different size fasteners, as everything went to gether with the same size screws. It's a nice looking shed that doesn't exceed height limitations. It has the ability to support a wall shelf inside. None came with the shed. The door handles are plastic, everything just about is. Security would be limited to someone willing to break off the handles or pry the doors out of their hinges. So I suppose it would keep the honest people out.One thing I wish walmart provided here is a link to the owners assembly manual. As of this date, I've found one online and used it to review the assembly before purchasing and assembling the shed. It's 44 pages duplex and is dated 2008. The manual in the box was virtually identical but dated 2011. I didn't find any discrepancies between the manuals.http://shedgear.com/sgwassembly/a03b04.pdf 08/28/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by VegasHandyman Very nice product! I was looking for a medium size shed that was not to tall as to stick above my wall and the dimensions on this shed were perfect. Assembly was VERY easy. Assembly instructions were nice and clear. I assembled it by myself (with a little help from my 6 and two five year old kids) in about three-four hours (2 adults can do it in 2 hours). PLENTY of room to hold my mower, trash can, blower, weed eater and all the rest of my gardening tools. I purchased the optional corner shelves and hooks which work nicely and are easy to install. Shelves are strong enough to hold my pool chemicals! A sturdy, level base in crutial. I built mine out of 4 x 4 and plywood (about $50 total from Home D). Overall a great product and would buy again.... 04/09/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by 2wheeled great value, straight forward assembly After a lot of research, finally bought this shed. I have a suncast deck box and it has held up well over the years. I had limited space, so 7.5 by 5 just fit. I built a wood platform, pressure treated 2X4s and 1/2" 4X8 pressure treated plywood. It took about 3 hours to assemble the shed by myself. Used a small battery powered driver set at force level 4 to avoid stripping out screws. Read the instructions several times, but with the part letters stamped into the parts, it's hard to screw up. My wife helped once, when starting the wall assembly, but once the corner and a wall panel are in, it's off to the races. It seems flimsy at first, but once the rafters were on, it is nice and strong. Two people would make assembly faster, especially with the roof panels. I am very happy with the shed, price and quality are good, and the shed basically snaps together. 12/16/2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by CindyCatt Nice! got this shed delivered. It came to house, but they would not take it further than garage. It is big and weighs 300 lbs or more. So you will have deal with the huge boxes (3) and the huge pallet they left me. Hoping it fits in car, because trash men will not take it. I will take it to dump. Another step you have to deal with when this is delivered. No unpacking and removing anything. Least that is what the two guys told me. I had my boyfriend and my friend ( another male) and myself to put this shed together. The instructions were fairly clear. The drawings to illustrate were not! So it took a little longer since none of us have ever done this before. It took around 4 hours with three of us. Mostly those two doi g the heavy work, and I handed tools, helped to figure out the dilemmas we encounterd. 1st dilemma.... You must have the site where your placing this ready to go. You should NOT place directly on the grass as shown in the picture. I had some bushes removed and bought dirt/ mulch and thought I could just place on that. You can't because the ground may shift or sink in and then the whole structure becomes unstable, and because a majority of these panels snap together, it may cause it to be unstable, or damage the shed. So I had to place directly on my patio, underneath my deck. I couldn't wait or wanted to go the expense of have a slab poured for it. Or to go buy heavy thick slabs to put down. Those little pathway tiles, wouldn't cut it. Needs to be thick foundation. With that problem solved we moved on. We needed a rubber mallot, a drill , and a screwdriver. The screw driver was needed to help wedge the pieces together in some areas because the parts were warped , like they were in a hot storage area. That was one problem. Another was that the illistations were not clear, and we had a hard time seeing which way a part went in. Once you snap these in.. They are very difficult to take back apart in case of a mistake. All in all, we did it. The door handles do not line up perfectly, but I am able to get a lock on it. It is a plastic shed, and if someone wants in it bad enough, no lock will keep them out. Can you say blow torch? If I had it to do over, I would still buy this shed. It is sturdy, and size is good. Color is nice, blends in. Skylight is great feature. It is relatively easy to put together, if you are mechanically inclined . I think the quality, the price, is good for this. Sears wanted 256.00 to come out and install it, plus it was about $100.00 more at sears.com. I chose to get a cheaper price, and do it ourselves. I'm terrible at putting things together,- and wouldn't have been able to do it, by myself. You need at Least two people. And even then, time to put it together depends on you skill level. I read the reviews and went with this shed, due to so many people said it was easy. It's not EASY... But it is doable. And it's a NICE shed! 12/11/2011
