This was purchased to replace a Suncast hose reel I previously had. The new one is identical except that it has a swivel base. In the past I had to manually move the whole hose reel to water different areas. Now, it swivels. I like the storage area because I have 4 different watering devices. Allows me to keep them with the hose reel and they are covered.

not only is Walmart selling this cheaper then anywhere else, but there shipping is super fast, the hose reel it self is very easy to use, and being that it swivels, makes it very easy when pulling out hose or rolling it up, it comes fully put together, and the hardest part is hooking up the hose, this is the second one like this i have bought, the last one lasted 8 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Unhappycustomer100 I purchased this hose reel to replace an older one that was broken. I was happy to notice the gear reduction mechanism makes rolling in the hose much easier then before. The quality is good for being all molded plastic. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Susik2 Just received it a few days ago and haven't had a lot of time to use it. The couple of times I did use it, it worked well. I was very happy with the smooth up-take of the hose winder when I was finished. Hopefully it will continue working as well as it has so far.

Love this hose reel...no tangles, no heavy lifting, no carrying....just wind and leave. I had one that lasted for about 5+ years. The price may seem a it steep for a hose reel but you get what you pay for. I used mine several times a week during the hot summer months and never had a problem until I added an extra hose. Keep within the 225' of hose and you may have yours much longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by gt01 Shipping was poor. First one was lost. I cannot determine if it was worth the money until I use it for a while. Seems to work well though.
