It is well made, economical, simple to use, and does not come with an encyclopedia of "warnings." I commend Sunbeam for making this awesome heating pad. Although I bought if specifically for beneath my cat's sleeping pad (because it does not turn off automatically), I would use it myself every day of the week and twice on Sundays. 06/25/2012

This was about the only one that did NOT turn off automatically which is what we want, if you need it on for quite awhile you don't want to have to keep turning it back on. The size isn't too large which is helpful if you need it to target one smaller specific area. We bought two so if a larger area needs coverage we use two at a time. 05/13/2012
