Worked better than I thought I purchased this mower in anticipation of the gas prices going up. The mower worked better than I could have imagined. Cut the high wet grass with out much problem. Cuts a 1/4 acre with power to spare. Cut it all and forgot to recharge it, the next week it cut 1/2 then died. was able to finish after a three hour quick charge. Does not pick up clippings as well as the gas powered one but can fill a bag to 1/2 to 3/4 with out much problem. So far I saved $8 in gas. Should pay for itself by the end of the season. 04/03/2012
Sun Joe mower brightened our day We purchased a self-propelled electric mower .. the Sun Joe 20" 3-in-1 Cordless online and had it delivered to the Ridgecrest store.It arrived before we expected and is in perfect shape and runs really well. I am very impressed with this lawnmower. I have a very bad back and have given up pull-starting my gas mower. After each winter, where it may sit more often, it takes quite a bit of work to start. This electric mower starts as easy as a kitchen blender and sounds about like one too, but quieter. It has plenty of power and cuts clean. I can do both my front and back lawn (mostly Saint Augustine) and it still has plenty of power when both are completed. I like that the battery is balanced over the rear wheels and it is lite to push even without using the self-propel function, when in tighter spots. The bag is easy to empty.I rated the Expectations a little lower because the debris deflector piece at the rear is cheap plastic rather than flexible rubber. After pulling the mower backwards about 5 times, it folded under the mower and the blade hit it, shredding it. It is a safety piece, but I will probably just make a better one for it rather than using the warranty to get a replacement for this bad design. It really is not needed if using the bag on the rear as I do. Other than that, this appears to be a great value and well built.Using the Internet to purchase it from Walmart went smooth. They even dollied it out to my van and loaded it for me. Way to go Walmart! 04/27/2012
The Greatest Lawn Mower Ever To Whom It May Concern,I LOVE THIS LAWN MOWER...... I WISH I HAD THIS ONE BEFORE BUYING THE MANY GAS LAWN MOWERS IN MY YEARS OF MOWING GRASS... I HAVE BEEN SHOWING IT OFF TO MY NEIGHBORS AND THEY ARE LOOKING INTO BUYING ONE....... The only thing I'm having a hard time with is the side grass shooter I can not get it on, to stay on, and also the mulcher plug, don't know how to put that in either...... But all in all I LOVE THIS MOWER, I CALL IT MY RETIREMENT MOWER AND I TELL EVERYONE I HAVE GONE ALL GREEN....... NO GAS, NO OIL, NO PULL ROPE, NO ELE. AND NO FUSS OR MUSS, JUST PUT THE BATTERY ON AND PUT THE KEY IN AND GO TO TOWN WITH IT..... NOW I WISH THEY MADE A WEED WACKER LIKE THIS LAWN MOWER NO GAS/OIL, NO PULL STRING, NO ELE. IF IT OUT THERE I WILL FIND IT AND BUY IT....... OH AND I JUST USED MY NEW MOWER TODAY AND IT MADE MY TIME CUTTING GRASS SO MUCH EASYER AND CUT MY TIME IN HALF THEN USING MY GAS MOWER..... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING SURE A WONDERFUL LAWN MOWER. 04/26/2012
