Rated 5 out of 5 by AtlMom2006 Great Baby Gate This gate was an excellent purchase. I looked at a lot of websites and different gates that would fit our 6' opening and finally purchased this one. I couldn't be happier with it. It was easy to install, although the little wrench that came with it broke while installing it. It is sturdy and easy to open and close. The gate is not really white, more of an off white but I really don't mind and it still looks nice with our white molding. The gate is VERY easy to remove, it has anchors in the wall and the gate is removed with just a twist on each side. I love that I can take it down easily when I have dinner parties etc. 10/09/2009

This is a very well constructed (metal) easily installed (1 hour or less) gate that expands for larger spaces.It is not one that you go OH MY THAT'S A BABY GATE! It blends with the decor and looks like it 'should' be there.As you can see from pics i have an ivory velvet couch that my fur baby is not allowed on and so this is THE perfect solution.Oh, and the gate swings frontwards and backwards. The latching mechanism is such that you have to push the spring back, pick up and over. Me likey!We had to bolt the bottom bracket on our trim, but we arent planning on going anywhere for a while so it was okay with us.If the measurements fit, buy buy buy! 07/19/2010

My 1-yr old son is very strong, and it appears I made the right choice. We had a 6 ft opening to kitchen and this fits perfect. Sturdy enough to withstand lots of shaking. One hand operation is great too! Highly recommended. A bit pricey but will last a few yrs. 09/10/2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by grayghosts I am extremely happy with this gate, it’s excellent. It was a breeze to install, 15 minutes. Fits securely, solid & sturdy. Very easy, one hand opening. Hard to find 6' gate, so glad they came up with this one. With 2 included extensions, it has many adjustments so it will be easy to move when my 7 month old grows. He loves to stand up at the gate & watch me in the kitchen. Even opened to its full 6" length it does not wobble as he hangs on. The only thing I would change is the fact that the gate does not swing around flat against itself when not in use. But I can live with that. I would highly recommend this gate to anyone. 08/18/2009
