Rated 3 out of 5 by WifeBoughtIt Extra Tools Needed The srews bent and broke while using them. One of the holes in the fram had to be drilled out because it wasn't alligned. The gate works now but it required more work than it should have required. If you buy this make sure you have a drill. 09/08/2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kastanzas Wonderful Product!!! Trying to baby proof everything in our kitchen would have been a nightmare. The cleaning products, sharp knives, hot stove/oven, the drawers, the cupboards, and so on... This gate keeps our baby out of the kitchen completely so we don't have to worry about those things. The gate swings both ways so it makes coming and going a breeze. It was very simple to install. I did use different screws to mount it to the wall though but I'm sure it would be fine to use the ones it comes with. Ideally no one wants to have a metal gate in their home but this one is the prettiest looking one I could find. The bottom line is it keeps baby out and safe!!! You won't be disappointed with this product!!! 05/18/2011

I have a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old and I also have daycare kids and they are a little roudy! I bought the wood one they broke it I bought the plastic one, they broke it but this one is still going strong:) it is a very sturdy and reliable gate! I love it! 12/14/2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by newfane14108 We've had this gate installed for a few weeks now. We purchased it to keep the dogs off the furniture. The color is a great color, matches our house interior perfectly, which is one reason we got it. The only problem is the shorter gate which we purchased seperatly is a different color, it's more bronzed than brown, as this one is. We have a open area just shy of 6' and this reached perfectly across. We like that we can lock the gate by shutting it, or not have it locked, by my husband just rigging it ever so slightly that the door will shut but not actually lock so if we are going in and out of the room we can just push it open.One problem we had was there is a rod that is on the bottom that keeps the door in place when locked and this rod was bent. Luckily i have a handy man and he removed it and welded a new one on. Otherwise if he couldn't have done this we would have had to sent it back because the gate would have been useless because we wouldn't have been able to actually open the gate. So overall it is a very pretty gate, it is working fine, the dogs have tried to open it, without luck. Our 3 year old child easily learned how to open it without instruction, so if your trying to keep the kids out it's not feesable. 04/14/2011
