love this!!! the only downside I seen from it was the screen times out after a bit and you have to hit the button to turn it back on (like a energy saver kinda thing, it's still powered on, but it goes into sleep mode)... I like to view all the time... but other than that, I've had no problems with this camera. I like the fact that you can turn/tilt the camera, and the one you view has a zoom mode on it :) its a very easy set up, I mean, you put it where you need to, and plug it in. done. very worth the money.. which wasn't that much. :)

big screen for easy viewing

Great monitor, couldn't believe the price! Some reviews complain about the quality of the video but I compared mine to my sister-in-laws $300 big brand monitor and the picture is the same, if not better.

Great product!

The video quality is not the absolute best, but is very acceptable especially for the price of this monitoring system. The video and the sound are both very good and is very easy to set up. We like the option of having video and sound or just the sound in order to save the battery on the monitor. You also have the option of leaving the monitor connected by the adapter cord. What is most handy is having the ability to carry the video monitor anywhere in the house while our daughter is sleeping. My wife is very happy that she can have a soak in the tub but still watch our daughter at the same time. I highly recommend this unit.

Summer Infant In View Digital Video Monitor

Works great for my mother-in-law who is in an assisted living home.  She has sundowners and is up at odd times during a 24 hour period.  The monitor provides a way for the attendant to keep up with her.

This is a wonderful monitor and I love that it has night view and so many great features to keep an eye on my precious baby at all times.

This is a great product. It allows you to go cordless as long as the battery charge lasts (couple of hours). On this mode, you must constantly turn on the visual part, but the audio part stays on the entire time. The color and picture quality are totally fine, despite other reviews. Unless you want an HD picture of your child, this monitor serves just fine.

Great product for the price

I've enjoyed this product so far. Sometimes the reception lags when we close the baby's bedroom door but she's close enough to the living room I can still hear her. I had to turn the sensitivity to max so I could hear everything in her room at night. I'm sure as she gets older I'll turn it down but I did notice the first night with the sensitivity on 3 that she had to scream pretty loud before it registered.

The night vision quality is decent and I LOVE the zoom option. I keep it on zoom all the time so I can see her perfectly. It's not HD but honestly why do you need HD on a monitor?

The charge doesn't hold on the monitor unit that long so we keep it plugged in at night. We only use it at night so that's not an issue for us.

The set up was super easy but I recommend reading the instructions for the menu options and testing the unit prior to bedtime so its exactly how you want it.

Doesn't look anything like the picture

When looking for a monitor I found the Summer Infant which seemed to be in the middle for Monitor pricing. Setup out of the box was easy, video quality great, sound great, great coverage throughout the house, all-in-all a great cam.

Would have given 5 stars but the field of vision should be a bit larger. Placement is crucial with this camera because it is very hard to get 100% vision of the crib otherwise.

You shouldn't have any problems with this camera and find it well worth your money.
