We've been using this for about a week for my 3 year old who just converted from a crib to a full size bed. She loves it because it is pink! It was easy to install. It works well. It can be a little difficult to lock in if the sheets or blanket get caught in it. It seems to be durable, but I guess time will tell. So far we are very happy with it.

After reading all the reviews I decided to purchase this bed railing. First let me say how easy it was to build. A 10 year old could handle the directions. The color looks alot brighter online. In real life it is a perfect soft pink that matches that standard lite pick that most little girl bedding comes in. I was not sure how it would work since my daughter has a trundle bed so there is no bottom mattress and it works just fine. Both railings don't fall to the ground but they do fall down enough to make the bed easily. I read one review that said not both sides come down, but I was happy to see that both sides did fall down. It is very snug on her bed that I have no fear of her rolling out of bed. When the railings are locked it is not moving. I am 8 months pregnant and I was able to build and put this on my daughter's bed by myself, it was that easy. Also the picture makes it appear that there is alot of room at the end of the bed for you child to fall out. On my daughter's standard twin mattress there is only about 1 1/2 feet of space, so I am not worried at all that she might roll out of bed.

I recently bought this for my 2yr old daughter transitioning from her crib to a twin sized bed. I read through TONS of reviews on different bed rails. I think this product is great! It was easy to assemble, got it a few days before est arrival and it is such a pretty Pink!! My daughter is a crazy sleeper, and I've checked on her and she has been laying sideways with one head up against one rail and her feet pressing the other side. And it holds. She even uses it to help pull herself up and there is NO give. Sturdy...great price (keeping in mind MOST bedrails are this price for ONE bedrail)..and very nice looking! I def reccomend this!

My little princess sleeps comfortably and safely in her big girl bed with these wonderful bed rails. She is an active sleeper who moves all over her bed, and these rails have kept her in her bed every night. No awkward gap between the mattress, but folds easily to make the bed. I'm glad I read reviews first that led me to this outstanding product.

I am so happy with these bed rails. They are great for the money! They fold up and down really easily. I think it is a great price for both sides! The color pink is a lot lighter than the pink shown in the picture I think, I was expecting more of a hot pink and it's a baby pink.

2 for price of 1 bed rails in soft pink. Works great! It still gets 5 stars even though it can't fold down and slide under mattress based on type of bed furniture my daughter has. So make sure you look at picture on the sides :)

Since our daughter turned two in May, we have been thinking about transitioning to her big girl bed, which is a queen. Her bed is not positioned against the wall, so we knew we would need a rail for both sides of the bed. She sleeps all over the bed, so we knew she would have to have some rails before we felt comfortable with her sleeping in the bed throughout the night. After doing quite a bit of research at various specialty baby stores, I found this set at Wal-Mart, of all places. Most of the options I found only offered one rail at this same price. This is by far the best value for the money and has proven to be a very safe option. It latches together safely and securely underneath the mattress. The sides will lower for easy bed making, too. The pink is adorable and blends nicely with her room. We are very pleased with this product's safety and ease of use and my daughter loves sleeping in her big girl bed. The transition has been a breeze for all of us.

Even though this is meant for a larger bed, my husband placed it on our granddaughter's toddler bed, which already had rails halfway down. Our granddaughter moves around a lot when she sleeps, so she has fallen out the bottom half of the bed. This bed rail is longer and higher, with a nice mesh side that allows good air flow. It flips down to make changing sheets easier. I'm sure we'll be using it when she graduates to a full or queen size bed. Did the site-to-store order, very helpful.

Would like to know if these siderails fold down completely and can then be brought up at night when it's time for the child to sleep? Spent a lot of $ on the beddng and it just doesn't look right shoved between 2 rails.

    • A. I have the double rails, but only use one side as my daughter's bed is up against a wall. The side folds down flat against the side of her bed and folds up snuggly against the mattress when she goes to bed. Someone else had mentioned that their bed was not tall enough for the side rail to fold down completely, but I do not have that issue.

    • A. I had these set up both ways. At first I had a rail on both sides of the bed, but then, when my daughter got a bit older, I removed the outside and left only the one against the wall, to prevent her from trapping herself. I had it that way for close to six months before I took it off, as well. It worked just fine with only one rail.
