  • A. I am no expert by any means, but we have had the pool for a week and realized after 5 days we needed something so my husband purchased chlorine tabs. The pool is much better. I hope this helps.

  • A. Yes you will have to use chemicals unless you drain the water and refill it every couple of days which could get expensive!

  • A. Yes it does. But chemicals, for me, is just chlorine tabs put in the filter of the pool or floating around in a 10 dollar floating guy. Figure on spending abou 30 dollars for additional stuff after the pool purchase. A vaccuum set, a tub of chlorine tabs, and a floaty guy. Plus a handful of replacement filters for the pool.

  • A. Yes, you need to use chemicals to keep the water sanitary & an algecide to keep the pool clear. You can get all that at Walmart or any pool place.

It's not listed in the included items but I can't imagine why it wouldn't, so does it come with a ladder?
by dodgingflames 3/15/2012

  • A. No and I have found that the ladders cost nearly as much as the pool! We just use a step stool.

  • A. No it doesn't come with a ladder because it's only 2 & 1/2 feet deep...30 inches tall. You can easily lift your legs over the side of it.

  • A. If the pool came with a ladder it would be on the box if it isnt on the box it doesnt come with a ladder, I have the same pool but its the easy set up, not the one with the bars and for that you dont even need a ladder. the easy set up is so much easier to setup and maintain in my opionon.

  • A. The instruction manual says specifically to NOT use sand. And that if sand is used it will void the warranty. I wouldn't chance it.

  • A. no.. but sand made life easier... If your groun is perfectly level and rosk and stick free.. and super soft gras you will be fine. But mine wasn't- so I took old sand from the sand box and bought new sand for the sand old

  • A. I am no expert, but when my husband set up the pool he used sand on the ground where we were going to put the pool at to level it out. There is not a NEED for sand, but if you need to level the ground, it would be good.

  • A. No, you do not need sand. And if you use sand to make the bottom more comfortable, it will burn out your filter because of the silica that floats into it.
