Upgrading from the factory player in my '97 Camry that had just AM/FM and tape deck but tape deck was not working. AM/FM--poorer reception than factory radio but still decent CD--have not used yet USB--have not used yet AUX--this is the primary reason I bought it. Just plugged in the provided cable to my IPOD and plays nice and clear. The downside is the cable plugs into the stereo ports on the back of the unit and then has an 1/8 jack that plugs into the IPOD. I had to drill a small hole in the back of the storage compartment under the radio to fish the 1/8 male plug out so that it could be used with the IPOD. (see bottom of picture) Fit--My trim panel didn't go back in after installing the radio so I had to cut the top piece of the plastic trim at the corners to make it fit back in. The Camry has over 200,000 miles on it and it doesn't look too bad but I would have preferred not to have to do that. All in all it is a nice little unit and about the cheapest one out there.

I got this as a xmas present from the wife. I have an older car, 1999 GMC Jimmy, and my factory radio had seen better days. I didn't want to spend a lot on a radio so I chose this one. For the money, its great, you get a CD player, which can play CDR and CDRW and MP3's as well. Also, it has a USB port, you can plug a jumpdrive in or your Ipod...and it charges it! It also comes with a aux input with RCA cables to plug any mp3 player into. The only drawback is when I play a CD, it makes a funny noise, but your really can't tell when you have the volume up. Oh, and it does have a clock, but you can't set it unless you press a button each time...and it won't do anything but 24hr time.

Great unit for the money. I put it in a 25 year old pickup and use it for primarily radio and CD use. Gets good reception and fidelity for the money. Good display and very readable at night. Also appreciate the removable control panel and associated storage case that came with it. Instructions on the install were very good. Recommend it to anyone who wants a basic AM/Fm CD/MP3 player at reasonable price. Kudos to Walmart for prompt delivery.

For such a small price, this basic little radio sounds much better than you'ld think from being so inexpensive. I am very satisfied with what I go so far.

    • A. ya i already bought it. it does work like that but the aux works best cause through the usb port if you turn you car off to go into a store and come back and start the car it starts all over with the first song kind of a pain when you have like a 100 or more.

    • A. Yes this will work! I attempted to use Windows mobile to play, but that does not work. When I use the phone only as a "disk" like and mp3 player it works. Control is on the unit itself and it plays files in order, but you can use the right/left arrows on the unit to manuver through the files.
