"Sucker Punch" is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Rated 3 out of 5 by TheTruthBeTold1975 This movie has received many bad reviews, but I believe this to be due to many not being able to relate to the subject matter. It addresses the issue of patients being exploited in the mental health system, and many have never seen that side of life. Some don't know what goes on, and since it is an ugly part of life, many know but would rather ignore the fact that such things have happened. While I believe some of this is embellished, I think much of the exploitations in here are true to life. I think it is an amazing movie, and for those with psychological disabilities, it is a must see. It is both an eye opener and it is empowering. This takes place in a 1950's asylum, but these days while things are more regulated by law, life for the disabled is still not pretty. 08/24/2011
