As the owner of a clothing boutique, you must purchase inventory, monitor the store’s funds and try to please a constant stream of customers who look to you for the best fashions.

  • You can stock your store with items from 16 different in-game designer labels, each with its own distinct style and price point. Style Savvy includes more than 10,000 items and a range of customers with a variety of styles and personalities.
  • Every day customers who walk through the door of your shop tell you their shopping budget and the kind of clothing they want. If you make them look good, they’ll be back – or they might even stick around and spend more.
  • Once you build up some cash, then it’s time for you to go shopping to stock your store. You can expand your inventory or start getting ready for seasonal changes, which are timed to the calendar of the Nintendo DS or Nintendo DSi system.
  • You can make a local wireless connection with up to three of your friends to host a fashion runway contest to see who has the best eye for fashion.
  • If two players have Style Savvy game cards, they can connect their Nintendo DS or Nintendo DSi systems locally to visit each other’s stores. Players who have broadband wireless Internet access can connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and walk around other players’ stores and browse their best wares. Players can find their favorite coordinates, download them and wear them.
  • You can customize the look of your character with different head shapes, eyes and lips. Or you can modify your look by changing your hair color, getting a new hair style or adding makeup.

    Nintendo DS Style Savvy Best game ever!!! You start as an employee in a clothing store and you eventually get to run your OWN store. At your store, you will meet customers who are looking for one article of clothing or sometimes a whole outfit. You need to look at them and see how they are dressed to know what their style is....then you go thru your inventory to find what you HOPE they will like. In addition to helping customers, you will also become a buyer.....as you will have to go to a buyer's warehouse to order items for your store. Once there, you will meet reps from different clothing companies and buy the items you think will sell well in your store. You will also design displays, ads and flyers. You will create "looks" for runway shows where you compete for prizes and recognition. AND if things get slow at the store....you can run over to the hair salon to get your hair done. Or go to the cosmetics shop to buy some new make up for yourself. I'm in my 30's and I have played this game for HOURS on end and I just never get tired of it. I bought it at Wal-mart (in-store) and it is worth every penny!!! 12/04/2009
    BEST GAME I HAVE EVER HAD!! it is soooo much fun! at first you are working at another shop,but then you get your own shop, you can change the interior, and there are soo many ways to change what you look like! the graphics are the best! it seems so real!i would recomend this to anybody, but maybe older girls, cause in the game your boss is a guy [ nothing inappropiate], and through the game he butler asks you what you think of him, and that his boss is lonely, but there is nothing like kissing or anythg.i could finish a game in a day, with this one you can play as long as you wantit goes on forever!this game is the best game ever!!!!!! 11/30/2009
    Hours of enjoyment My daughter, 12, picked this game because there wasn't any other she was really interested in. To her surprise, she LOVED it. She has played this game all the way through and is now playing again. She has played other games similar to this but none other have captured her attention like this one. I would definitely recommend this to other girls her age. 06/04/2010
    Bought 2 as xmas presents for each of my 12 yr old granddaughters. They love this, they are addicted to it!! And each girl has different type of personalities, 1 is more tom boyish, so I would recommend it for any girl! 01/06/2010
