Rated 2 out of 5 by Returned after 1 day If you're going to make calls and only calls then this phone will do you fine, but if calling is all you do, get another one. I do a lot of texting and online work. The keyboard is horrible. If you want to press "space" you'll probably end up hitting 'v' or 'b' and if you want to hit 'a' you'll probably hit shift. Not worth the $106 I threw down. As for the $45 plan, don't bother. It's not refundable and you won't be able to get in touch with them for questions anyway. They are apparently having an "unusually high calling volume." Garbage. The game selection is bad too and who wants a phone with bad games? Not me. 10/03/2011

Rated 2 out of 5 by Pretty good phone cursed by lousy text entry I've had this phone for a couple days, and I like most aspects of it. It is very thin and light, reasonably well made, and has all the features I need. The camera quality is decent. The screen is a little smaller than I expected, but it looks pretty good. Sound quality is also acceptable. The web access won't put Android out of business, but for the very low price I won't complain. I don't have a ton of experience with Straight Talk's GSM network (AT&T), but in my area it seems comparable to my previous (Verizon post-paid) phone. The thing I just can't get beyond is the absolute impossibility of entering text accurately. Yes. you. can. enter. text. eventually. But typing out a text message is torture on this screen. Getting a single letter entered accurately can take as many as five or six taps of the screen. It is VERY frustrating. I can't imagine how long it would take to actually carry out a back and forth conversation by text. Of course there is no slider keyboard, so you are stuck using the on-screen text entry. If you don't text a lot and have an abundance of patience, you might be okay with this phone. But if you expect to be able to whip out a quick text message, look elsewhere. 08/19/2011
