I've gotten tons of the 18 gal version of these containers, they're very useful for storage (basement, garage, etc). Durable, lids snap on securely, good size. These 10 gal bins are great for inside storage, like closets. They're a more manageable size, especially if you're packing heavy things inside. I have a closet full of both the 18 gal and these 10 gal, and it's great. They're not see-through - that's the only negative of these bins. However, any cheap (<$10) clear bins are a lot less durable (prone to cracking, whereas these just bounce back), and the better ones are much more expensive. Very recommended.

Container is the right size as to make it not overly heavy from a lifting stand point when full.

I was a little surprised at how big those plastic tubs really are. I am very satisfied with them considering the price.

I use these to put holiday items in storage for the year. They are great and stack up on top of eachother easily. Great space saver in the garage or closet. They are sturdy and excellent for the price!!

This was the only size tub that I have been able to find that fits perfectly in my garage racks. I use them to keep my tools and equipment organized. I looked everywhere and only found them at WM online. The only thing that could make this better is if there were colors to choose from, as this would have helped in the organization.

Does the 9 piece set includes 9 containers and 9 covers or is it bottoms and covers that make up the set of 9? And if it is the latter then a piece would be missing. Please respond because I want to buy this item.

    • A. There are nine bottoms and nine covers. The plastic is a little thin. It has some flexibility which is good. The covers have some white band stress marks on them probably due to the way Walmart received them because they are not banded when shipped to their customers. If you don't mind a few white stress marks on the lids I think they are a great value.

    • A. The description indicates lids included. No way would they sell the containers w/o lids or have one lid missing.

I live in the south and plan to store these in my garage. I cannot use cardboard boxes because bugs (mainly spiders) get in them. I want to know if these totes will prevent that. Thanks.

    • A. Yes, they will keep insects out if you make sure to snap their lids on properly.

    • A. I've used them for years in the garage and no bugs or pests ever end up in them because the lid closes tightly.

    • A. These do no produce an air tight seal. My experience is that if it is not air tight, insects will invade.

    • A. Hi, I purchased these a few weeks ago and have been using them in my garage. I also live in the south and I doubt bugs will be getting into my tubs, but I am also storing tools. If you were to store food in them, you would probably find bugs in them eventually.

    • A. Most storage uses require some ventilation; therefore our storage boxes may not be sufficiently airtight enough to keep tiny insects out. They are however, tight enough to be rodent proof, provided the lid is allowed to be flush with the bottom, and the box is not filled to excess causing bowing. I hope this was helpful.
