There should be plenty of room. There is additional tray space in between the stands also.

The trays are large and it erases quite well but the easel does not come with chalk or an eraser

The tray is big and hold the easal in the open position and the chalk wipes of very easily

There is no real space for paint cups, there are very shallow recessed cirles, but they wouldn't hold a cup if that's what you're imagining.
Chalkboard is easily earasable. We use an old burp cloth.

You can put 8 of the small crayola finger paint bottles on the tray at a time. We buy the pack that you get it stationary at WalMart. It comes with 8 or 10 colors. It will also hold the spillproof cups with lids by Melissa and Doug.

It holds four pretty big size cups of paint (the Melissa and Doug brand paint cups). The chalk comes off very easily, we use a wet paper towel and it comes right off the board and anywhere else we find chalk.

The trays on the sides are about as wide as a child's water color pallet. I have used small bottles of tempers paints that fit in the trays. And of course there's the bigger tray in between. Yes it wipes easily (we have used old socks and wash cloths).

YES! chalk erases easily but I would recommend something else to hold the paint...unless you LIKE cleaning up spills :)

My daughter is 2 1/2 and she just got this for Christmas! She loves it! she is about 36" tall. Hope that helps!

My 1 1/2 year old daughter is on the shorter side (about 32 inches) and she is no where near reaching the top of the easel. I'm guessing she'll be able to use this for at least a couple more years. I'd say 4 ft might be the tallest that would be comfortable for a child to use this easel.

No this easel would not be too tall for an average two year old. My daughter is 5 and tall for her age. The easel is about 43" tall and at about 24" is the bottom of the drawing/chalk board.
