Great buy! We bought this for our son's second birthday a few weeks ago. It is one of the best purchases we have made for him as far as toys go! He loves this and plays with it constantly. I was going to wait until his third birthday to get him a wooden train table, but after reading the reviews of all the pieces and high price tag, went with this instead. It's all you need. Definitely glad I read the reviews and adhered the stickers FIRST before putting the table together. Only took my husband and I about 15 minutes from start to finish. We bought some Matchbox cars to add, but the motorized Thomas Trains work for the most part (some have trouble going up the hills). The cover is great when not in use and one adult can easily move the table around. I ordered it on-line and was going to do Site-To-Store since I did not want to pay shipping for a 25 pound box, but they shipped it right to my door for only $4.97. Definitely would recommend! 08/10/2009
great toy! I love this track b/c my 18 month old son is s train and car nut. he can put his match box cars on it as well as the small thomas train's on it as well. the tracks do not move so you dont have to keep putting them together for frustrated little ones. The table is sturdy and has nice colors. I really love this product. Great for any train lover! 07/09/2007
Better than What I expected!! The table was bigger than what I thought. It is very sturdy. I had 4 - 3 year olds jumping on top of it at once. My 3 year old and friends love it!! He plays with it everyday. The small Thomas trains fit perfect in the track. My son will not play with the train it came with since he has his Thomas trains. It took me 1 hour to put the stickers since I am detailed oriented. I was going to buy the wooden train table instead but because of money, we got this one and I'm so happy we did!! The cover is so nice to have. The only negative thing is that I wish it was higher off the ground since my son has to bend down a little to play but it doesn't seem to bother him. I think we will put it on a homemade pedalstal eventually. In conclusion, I would recommend going with this product instead of the wooden train table sets. My son has played with both (his cousin has an expensive wooden train set) and he likes them both just the same. 09/08/2010
Fun Times! My son absolutey loved this. It was a gift for his 5th birthday and he has not stopped playing with it yet. It was a little hard to put together because there were no pre-made holes for the screws. Other than that the toy was great! 07/18/2008
