Rated 4 out of 5 by texroja Just what we needed! I was looking for a nicer coast guard approved infant (0-30 pound) life vest in gender neutral colors. I purchased one yellow & one green, since no pictures were available on-line. The yellow one has a bee theme with a honey comb pattern, which I didn't love. The green one has an elephant with some stripes, which was nice looking and gender neutral. There is also a "dot" version (which is turquoise with dark purple & lime green polka dots). It worked great on our first boating trip, so I purchased another one to keep elsewhere. 06/30/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by mommainfeb We purchased this for our (very big) 3 month old son to wear when we went boating. He seemed decently comfortable, but it is very bulky (to be expected). My husband even took him into the lake for a little while in this life vest. Of course, he held him the whole time, but the life vest seemed to work really well, and made me feel a little better if there had been some sort of emergency. It fit our baby well (he is probably about the size of the average 8-9 month old) on the tightest settings; but it looks like it would also fit our 2 year old (average size), if we loosened the straps a little bit. 08/02/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by MKPM Great quality I bought this for my son and is very cute. The green has two different shades of green with with some white. So on the head part there are thin vertical stripes that goes in the order of light green, dark green, white. There's a green elephant on the front with green in the background. It's gender neutral. The yellow bee one might be gender neutral as well but I bought it for my son. The yellow has bees on it. The head of the vest has honey combs on it outlined with brown and some have green in them. The bees outline are brown and they have some green in them also. I love this life vest, It's light weight like it says but safe enough to hold up your baby. Made very nicely. If you want a safe, practical life vest for your child then this is the one. I have it for my son who will be 6 months in June, he will be using it at his Grandmas and Grandpas in ground pool when we go up there in the summer. I don't want him near the pool without his life vest because anything can happen, better safe then sorry. 04/19/2012
