Rated 5 out of 5 by didzy easy to use:-] I really liked this mop! I read most of the reviews for this and another mop in the same price range and decided on this one because of the handle. Very happy I did:-]1. Shipping: I chose the site - to - store shipping option, and it actually arrived 2 days earlier than they anticipated, and in excellent condition.2. Assembly: It was incredibly easy to assemble, and very easy to use.3. Contents: Mine came with 2 blue pads, the mop and a mini pitcher for the water (makes it really easy to pour in). Thanks to another reviewer who mentioned you will want distilled water, I already had some on hand and could use it right away.4. Ease of use: Soooo easy! I used it in my kitchen first, and I was conflicted at first at how well it worked because it did leave some streaks on the linoleum. But when I used it on my hardwood floors it worked great! That's why I gave it such high ratings. I had old paint crusted on the floor that I hadn't gotten around to scraping off, and I was shocked when I saw it coming off with the steam mop! I have a witness too...my friend, Kim, was there so you know I'm not making this up! lolThe water dries within seconds and you can definitely tell an immediate improvement on how clean it is. I can actually see the steam blowing out when I put it on the floor, and can feel it as well. I wear hearing-aids, so I can't hear it...but others probably can. My friend was watching me use it, and she commented on how quiet it was:-]5. Perks: It had some nice options; long cord ( can do my whole kitchen without having to switch outlets), foot switch to turn on/off (so its not automatically on when its plugged in, you have control over it), lights to tell you when its on and when the water reservoir is low (it blinks off and you know your water is almost gone), and you can wash the pads in the washing machine (works great, threw it in, lined dry and voila).Sorry for the long summary, but I wanted to tell you what all I knew about it so you can get as much info about this product as I did from the other reviewers!I have a 2 year old, a cat, and a large extended family who are very hard on my floors on a daily basis. This is a nice option to clean my floors without the old mop & bucket (which I hate!) and it was affordable. One of the best things for me was that it doesn't need any cleaners and is not only easier on the environment, my daughter's health, but also my pocket over the long-term. 06/28/2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by jetbob It sure helped me Works fine for me. It cracked through the tough stuff and lifted it off the floor without a problem. A thin film of water is left behind after cleaning but this is easily and quickly dried by pointing a fan across the area just mopped. Actually, this may be a good thing because if it dried somewhat instantly it would likely result in streaking, which is not a problem with this mop. And, it works equally well on linoleum and hardwood floors in my house.Drawback: Small water tank, which needs refilling about every 10-15 minutes, which in turn requires a cool down and reheat period of about 5 minutes on each side of refilling. 05/26/2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by ProductGuru Works well for the price This is my 2nd Steam Mop. First one (different brand) died after 2 years. One of my criteria for a steam mop is that it must have continuous steam. I do not like steam mops like the Shark where you must pump the mop in order to create steam. The second item to look for is how many WATTS the steam mop is. Anyting under 1,000 Watts is not really worth considering. Third is the convenience of putting on the microfiber pad. The velcro pads are the way to go.This mop is not perfect but pretty good for $39. It is sturdier then most steam mops, has continuous steam generation, has 1,000 Watts of power, and velcro micropads. Some people left feedback that it left the floors too wet, but they have since revised the manual and recommended that you only use 200ml of water at a time in the tank instead of 250ml as indicated in the manual. The only negative comments I have is that they tank is fairly small at 200ml and the head does not swivel which makes it tough to get in small areas (such as around toilets). Overall for $39, great deal and does the job. 01/10/2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by pmk7541 Better than expected I bought this product after seeing a similar one on TV that costs twice as much. It is very lightweight and easy to use. I've used it on wood and tile and am pleased with the results. The steam lasts long enough to clean a kitchen or bathroom easily without a refill and the floors dry quickly. The only drawback is the cord is not quite long enough. I've only had it a couple of weeks, so I can't say about durability but I think it is worth the price which is very affordable. 04/06/2008
