A Great Value... I setup this tent today in less than 30 minutes, and was very pleased. One of the best features was the added tie-down tabs placed on the rain fly. Not only does the rain fly attach to the four corners of the tent supports, but has additional tie-downs to keep it more stable during inclimate weather. This tent is very stable in windy conditions. 08/28/2011
I recently purchased the Rainier (9x9) and had my first opportunity to use it last weekend on a solo camping trip at Wayalusing State Park along the Mississippi. It took about 10 minutes to set up but with two people it would easily go up in less than 5. With the large air mattresses that we use it would easily fit 2 people and all their gear. With smaller sleeping pads you could fit 3-4. I especially like the full mesh side panels and large doors that provide great ventilation on all four sides. I was used to having a two zipper door (one zipper along the bottom) but had no trouble adjusting to having just the single zipper that opens along the arched door. One great feature is the mesh panel that hooks to the ceiling for storage. Coming from a smaller tent, the 6' ceiling is tall enough for me to stand under, so I really enjoy that. It rained one morning with a hard downpour and it was bone dry inside. Kudos to the designer that thought of the "bathtub" design! No need for extra seam seal. The rain fly gives plenty of protection and has nice adjust-ability for ventilation or can lay against the tent in cool damp weather. The only feature that would make this tent better is if it had web loops to string the poles through instead of the nylon casing but for the price, you can't have everything (or can you?). I am very satisfied and highly recommend this tent. 08/25/2011
did not work out It takes too long to put up because the long cloth channels-2 on each side-get caught up. The 2 doors need to be D-style doors so you can zipper and enter easier. I took it back. 06/10/2011
Great Tent We used this tent for the first time this weekend. It was very easy to set up. I had my 14 year old try to set it up thinking I would have to help him. He had it up before I could turn around. There was tons of room for both of us and all our equipment. It is lightweight to carry and the zippers for the doors and mesquito netting did not jam like a lot of other tents I have owned. 04/30/2012
