A twin sheet will go over the frame. If it is a GOOD fitted sheet, it works well. Or you can tuck it under.

The mattress is only about two inches thick. We used a sleeping bag.

No not really. A twin mattress is 39 inches by 75 inches and this bed measures 32 inches by 75 inches. The sheets would not fit properly however you could use two top sheets and tuck them under but a fitted sheet would be the wrong size.

When I received the cot the mattress was through the legs.The legs are folded, it holds the mattress in and then you clamp it .(Basically you put the mattress on the underside of the cot)

The mattress stores inside, in the same spot it was shipped in. Very handy!

You can store the mattress inside the frame for storage.

You can certainly fold it up with the mattress in betwen as that is how it comes and that is how i store it and travel with it. It has a latch to keep it closed. I also keep the plastic cover on in the box to keep dust off.

I purchased two of these cots for my young grandchildren who spends the weekends with me. They are wonderful and comfortable. The kids love them. They haven't complained about anything. The mattress is great, they can't feel the springs underneath. You can fold em up and take them with you. I love them!!!!! I use a twin sheet to go over it. It works for me.

wonderful spare bed!

I was a little skeptical about getting something comfortable to sleep on for such a cheap price but I ended up being pleasantly surprised.
This cot is well made and the mattress is thick enough. The spring device makes it comfortable to sleep on with interwoven lacing.
If your looking for a fairly inexpensive good cot to sleep on then this is the one for you.

I had a bed,cot, like this years ago and lost it in the Ike Storm. i had not seen these any where but looked everywhere with no success. I was delighted to find this one online. I am a grandmother to several children the most of them are out of state . They visit once a year

handy extra bed

If you need a bed for overnight guests, this is really a neat product. The metal frame has springs that support the mattress so it's a not like just throwing a sleeping bag on the floor and cracking your hip on the floor every time you turn over. I do have to make sure my hips are below or above the center bar for more comfort. I bought this to put in the bedroom of a parent just coming home from the hospital. It allowed me to right there instantly to help them at night with all the "stuff" that has to be dealt with when someone is weak and needing help getting up or turning, etc. Also the fantastic thing about this bed is that it folds and slides right under the bed in the room easily so that it doesn't stand out all day. It takes maybe 2 minutes for me to drag it out, pop it up, lock the legs in place and put linens on it. I did take the time to make a "sleeve" for the mattress out of a twin flat sheet. I folded the sheet in half length wise and sewed the side seams together. I leave this on the mattress when I put it away so I just add a light blanket and pillow and wahlah instant bed. I wash the linens weekly like normal.

Just what you need!

I bought this to put in my camper van...I was surprised how well built it is.  Seems quite strong.  I just came back from a weeks fishing and slept on it every night.  I think the bed would be comfortable with just the mattress, but with arthritis in my shoulders, it was just a tad to hard, so I put my slim twin coleman air mattress on top, and it worked great.  Highly recommend!!

GREAT BED!!

This cot would do well in a camping experience. It folds to five or six inches and has a comfortable cotton covered mattress. I use it for tanning on my deck, but I believe it would travel well, too.

Comfortable and sturdy

For this price, this is the biggest cot I could find; others were too narrow. My 15 year-old says it's totally comfortable. He weighs about 135. It is lightweight, and meets his needs.

Both kids - 13 and 15 -- said the bed was comfortable.  It was easy to put up and down and lightweight.  The beds are now stored  in their original boxes in the garage for the next visit.

Bed for grandkids

I bought this for when my 8 yr old  grandtwins sleep over.  I ended up sleeping on it for about 3 night before they did.  It was pretty comfortable....mattress could be bit thicker and I think I'll buy egg crate topping for it.  Seems sturdy and doesn't creak.  Easy for me to fold up and store.  I used twin sheet set on it and worked just fine.  Much better price than Coleman and can't tell much difference.
