No, this will not work for stapling plastic over windows.

Would this work for stapling plastic over windows?

Been using this stapler for 3 or 4 years now. I have read the many bad reviews and I'm wondering if the people writing the bad reviews have mental problems. If you load the stapler correctly and make sure you are flush with your target it works fine. If you are using it on harder woods it will not work very good. Its a light duty stapler and I dont think these morons realize that. I also dont think they know what they are doing if it keeps jamming. The world is full of morons. Dont believe every bad review. Some people shouldnt breed

Great purchase for LIGHT DUTY Projects

Used to staple chicken wire to wood post for my garden .Worked great

I have used this to recover the chairs of my dining room set. It is terrific. I cant be happier with the way it works. It is not a heavy duty long term tool by any means, but for small projects or for use when a heavy duty gun is too much, you can't beat the value for the  price. I recovered 10 dining room seats and backs The backs required staples into a thin half inch board and a heavy duty gun was tearing it up. 
I used over 3000 stanley light duty staples and never had any issues but IT IS light duty. If you try to use it on heavy duty projects i could see it might jam. 
It is great when heavy duty is too much and desk stapler not enough. 
It sometimes needs a second to reset handle if i didn't completely loosen grip but after a few uses i saw how that worked. I can only say, its plastic. Dont abuse it and it worked great.  I tried to load photos but they wouldn't load.

Great Light Duty

My tacker finally gave it up after 40 years of use.  I no longer need a heavy duty construction tacker.  Just something for household use.  Being plastic I thought it would be a piece of junk.  But it works just fine for my use.  Easy to load and has not jammed once yet.

GOOD ENOUGH

I thought for sure being a Stanley that this would be what I needed to tack up some plastic on my screen porch. It wasn't heavy duty plastic. Various problems: 1. finding the correct staples in Walmart for this model. wasted much money, trying different universal ones that didn't fit finally found some in the brand. 2. When it got down a little low, it wouldn't eject the staples so I had to reload various times.. 
3. when tacking upside down it failed quite often. I'm purchasing different stapler.

Very Disappointed

Bought this for around $5 to staple my targets to plywood (plywood is light duty ) at the shooting range. They wouldn't go into it. So I figured I would keep it for random things around the house. Well its like the staples it recommended to use are too heavy duty for the gun and it broke after 7 staples ran threw it. JUNK!!

GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!

This product had to be unloaded and reloaded everything I used one staple. This was very frustrating.  I returned it for a better one.
