To ensure maximum security, this electronic personal safe comes reinforced with solid steel, pry-resistant doors, steel live-action locking bolts, and concealed hinges. It is rated as an approved Firearm Safety Container by the California Department of Justice laboratory. This steel personal safe comes with an easily programmable electronic lock and a backup trouble key for use during emergency situations.
Stack-On PS-514 Personal Safe:Tested by a certified California Department of Justice laboratory, this Stack-On safe is rated as an approved Firearm Safety Container. All-steel construction with 2 large locking bolts and a concealed hinge secures the contents of this safe. A trouble key is included. Electronic lock can easily be programmed by the user with a safety key override. Time-out period after 3 incorrect combination attempts. The lock can also be programmed to "beep" when the numbers on the key pad are pressed or programmed so the "beeps" are turned off. Key pad has large buttons and a low battery warning light will let you know when the batteries need to be changed. Includes a removable steel shelf and foam padding for the bottom of the safe and shelf. Predrilled holes in the bottom and back of the safe allow for mounting to the floor, shelf or wall. Stack-On Medium Personal Safe With Electronic Lock 92 109
Exactly as specified Perfect for what I needed - storing jewelry. My boxes fit right in it. The keypad lock is easy to set. The holes are pre-drilled. There is even a shelf inside to divide the contents. Great deal. Highly recommend, especially for the price. I see no need to spend more. Not sure what you would get. 06/10/2010
Good little safe This safe does exactly what it needs to do. It works as advertised. Fit our needs perfectly. A determined thief could rip it from the wall and then use the right tools to open it, but would it really be worth it. We keep some jewelry, cash, a pistol and some ammo in it. 05/12/2010
Provides what I need Well it's not the US Treasury bank (lol), but I did screw it to the floor and wall, it does lock securely, I'm sure if someone really wanted to do so they could pry it off and hack it open but I have a house alarm so I'm not too worried about this. The feature I like the most is that you CAN open it with a key without the code, so I put a key in my safe deposit box in the bank with instructions in the event a family member has to access this safe, but my code prevents anyone from doing this unless in an emergency. I really wanted a 99 pound safe but couldn't figure out how to get it in the house and up the stairs, this one does the job. 05/11/2010
