Transport your bikes easily and safely with the SportRack Backbone 3-Trunk Mount Bike Carrier. It can carry up to three bikes and features a quick hub mounting system for easy installation. To keep the carrier attached to your vehicle, this three-bike carrier contains six adjustable straps and soft cushion pads that help to protect your hatch and trunk. Soft rubber cradles and straps securely hold your bike in place while protecting it. Its anti-sway stability cradles are included and prevent bike-to-bike or bike-to-vehicle contact. You can use this trunk-mount carrier on most three-, four- and five-door vehicles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by 78945613 Never again! We bought this for a trip to Colorado so we could bring our own bikes. After repairing the dents and scratches on our car caused by this rack, it would have been MUCH cheaper to rent high quality bikes on the other end or maybe even buy some lesser quality.The straps that stabalise the rack do not hold tight so the rack slides, we had to tighten the straps every hundred miles or so.The foam cusions are not sifficient to keep the metal off your car so the metal rubs your paint off.The rack puts a lot of weight on the top of your trunk which dented ours.Even if you start with a perfecly clean car and clean the cusions well, dirst still get underneath causing more scratches.We had a trunk rack several years ago and did not have any of these issues. 07/08/2012
