- There are 6 teaspoons per fluid ounce. That means there are 12 teaspoons per bottle. The recipe from McCormick uses 1.5 teaspoon for each 6 cup batch. This means you can get 8 batches out of one bottle. This means that you can get 48 cups (3 gallons) per bottle.by MidnightsFrozenTreats2/26/2014Was this answer helpful? - The recipe on the box calls for 1.5 teaspoons for 5 cups of rootbeer. I have no idea how many teaspoons are in 2 oz.by MissToe9/18/2014Was this answer helpful? (0) (2)Was this answer helpful?
- When I buy a 4oz ( zaterans brand ) bottle of extract it makes 5 gallons. So I'm thinking the 2oz bottle will make 2 and 1/2 gallons. Hope that helps.by Carrie3510/25/2014Was this answer helpful? (2) (1)Was this answer helpful?
