It features a two-ply liner for improved water-resistance and a 100 percent butyl bladder for air retention. The composite leather cover enhances the softness of the ball. The Spalding football is sewn with TPR composite lace that provides excellent grip. The Mitey Mite ball is the official ball of the Pop Warner Division. The leather football comes with a bold S-stripe design to increase the flight appearance during spiral passes, guiding the receiver to locate the incoming ball.
