Rated 5 out of 5 by ezas123 Perfect table for small spaces! This table was everything that I was hoping for. The wood color is great, it is just the right height, and it saves so much room in my tiny apartment kitchen! Also, it was pretty simple to assemble. Before I bought it I was reading other reviews and saw that someone said that you needed a power drill-that is not true!! I am a 5'3", 110 lb woman and I did it all with the little tool it came with (sorry I don't know the name of it). Actually, about 3/4 of the way done with it, the L shaped tool was not working anymore because the hexagon shape that it was became round. Fortunately, I had another one and I was finished in no time. 11/02/2009

by butterflynite06 A great choice for small apartment! I bought this breakfast bar after wanting something to eat at in our small apartment, but finding that a full table, even a small one with drop leaves would not fit. This table/bar was the perfect fit. My husband took about 45 minutes to build it by himself. The directions he said were a little difficult, just because the parts were not labeled, but common sense pretty much made everything work. He wound up not using the allenkey that came with the table, (chose to use his own tools because it was less chincy) and he said he struggled a little bit with it, but it is totally worth the little pain to get it together, it looks amazing! The table is sturdy, though does not like to roll on my rug, but I just moved the rug. The leaf is easy to move in and out, and the stools just slide right out. With the leaf out, we totally had enough space to eat dinner tonight. Looks great!
Rated 5 out of 5 by LauraCo Great, great little table! This was a really smart purchase. My husband and I are very cramped in our little house and I really wanted a table that we could sit and eat together at.... (up until now, we were eating in the living room on the couch-- not conducive to a real meal...).This is an extremely sturdy little table. The stools are small, but not too small to be uncomfortable. The stools can also sit on the base of the table (and not slide into the provided slots), so if you want to add padding to the tops of the stools, you can. The swivel leg and all of the wheels function with ease, so that moving from a "side table" to a "full table" is really easy. The drawers fit silverware perfectly-- I have silverware in one drawer and napkins and placemats in the other.Comments in response to other reviews:--I have NOT found the stools or the table to be shaky at all-- they are both very sturdy.---My husband and I are big people (over 200 lbs), and neither of us have a problem sitting on the stools and enjoying a meal. I have also used the table for bill paying-- so sitting on the stool for an extended period of time was also not a problem for me.---Construction of these sets was SUPER EASY. It comes with almost everything you need-- the tool included does everything except affix the table top to the frame-- you will need a screwdriver for that.--- very little thing: the only thing that irks me about the table is that the drawers are set up opposite the swivel leg to extend the table-- so if you have your table against the wall (with the extension side out, naturally, as that is where the leg room is), you cannot access your drawers. Although, to be fair, I don't know if they could have designed it any differently as any other drawer set up would bump into the table top. Additionally, the wheels work really well on it, so it's easy to move around to get access to those drawers if necessary.Note: my table is set up on carpet, and the wheels work great.I am extremely happy with this purchase. I recommend this to anyone who needs a space saving table. It's fantastic. 06/28/2010

by frugalohiobuyer great buy for price All in all this is a well made product, looks nice when assembled and suits my needs perfectly. I have a small kitchen and this works double as a small island for extra work space.
