Great Buy! This was a scary purchase. I realize the $300 - $400 isn't a whole lot of money for what you are getting; however it is a lot of money to blow if you are completely dissatisfied with your purchase. I am really thrilled with this deal though! Here are the pros and cons:Cons:Shipping took FOREVER. Well not really, but shipping was delayed twice, so I would think it was almost there and get excited and then wait longer. I did the cheapo site to store option because I live in a gated apartment, where it is not only recommended, but part of your lease that you do not have anything larger than the tiny square mailbox delivered and also because site to store is free versus who knows how much. I was looking originally at the 10 inch Hybrid Mattress, which appears to have an awful lot of memory foam. The information on this mattress was “limited” to say the least. There is not a lot of memory foam and 8 inches or whatever is not a really thick mattress. I decided it would be alright, because if I wanted to get a topper or something later I could.Pros:Set up is a breeze. Literally SOOOOO easy. It is a fantastic deal. The storage boxes are much better quality than I envisioned. The bed frame is really nice. It seems very sturdy especially when compared to other metal frames out there. I am really happy with it. The mattress fits the frame perfectly. I did not use the bed skirt, so I cannot speak to that. The mattress is great though I wouldn’t say its top of the line or anything, but I get a good nights sleep on it and it is really comfortable. It can handle some weight easily. If you are looking for something nice and affordable this is for you. I would expect to pay at minimum double the cost if not a lot more! 05/23/2011
Very Satisfied I was a little hesitant when FedEx dropped off the box...no way a bed was in there....but it put together easy as could be and is a sturdy frame and very comfortable mattress. The skirt and under bed storage units are also good quality. I'm very satisified with this purchase. I bought it for my guest bedroom. It's excellent. 05/07/2011
NOT WORTH IT!! I absolutly hate this set you can feel the metal under the mattress when you get on the bed and the metal is cheaply made and is bending, its making a dip in the mattress..were probably gonna get a whole new one! very very dissapointed! 07/01/2011
Love, love, love this bed! We recently painted my son's room and ripped up the old carpet, and since he needed a new bed, we figured why not get one to go with the room makeover! I searched day and night for a good deal on a mattress/box spring set but I could never find anything that wouldn't break the bank account....until I stumbled upon this bed! Setting it up was a snap and the mattress comes shrink wrapped (hard to believe it fits in the box!) so when you cut the plastic, it immediately begins expanding to full size; and it doesn't need a box spring either! My son loves his new bed and I love that I didn't go broke buying it! I totally recommend this bed set to anyone working with a budget but needs a new bed, you definitely can't go wrong with this! :) 06/12/2011
