The memory foam (which is supposed to be 1.5 inches is actually only one inch. The supposedly high density foam that makes up the rest of the mattress is not high density at all. It feels and looks like regular non- dense cheap foam. The mattress only measures 3 inches total in height. My son has an expensive mattress set that is memory foam. While visiting him, I had the best sleep ever. I thought this topper would make my mattress like his. I have a good traditional mattress set. It did not. Maybe I was expecting too much. Anyway, for the amount of money I paid, it's not bad. The topper was just over 100 dollars so it is not much of an investment. Would I recommend it? no. go with an expensive memory foam mattress in a well known brand name. But if you are on a strict budget, then this is OK for the price. 11/11/2012
