The South Shore dresser/changing table looks to me to be a true espresso. It's darker than brown but not black so I think its accurate. Hope this helps :)

The one we purchased was a very nice Espresso color but we returned ours because it SEEMED sturdy but it was very FLIMSY once we build it. So we disassembled ours and returned it. The only pros about this product is the color, thats it.

It's a very dark chocolate brown. I wouldn't say black, but matches my other espresso finish furniture from other collections.

Great quality and arrived in excellent condition as I was worried about shipping furniture. The changing table was not difficult to assemble and the drawers are spacious. I do like the open area above the drawers for the baby items that are most used and you want to leave out for easy access. Overall, we are glad we went with this  piece of furniture for the nursery!

We got the changing table and the dresser together and we are very pleased! We didn't want to spend a lot of month and I feel like this set was well worth the money! It came undamaged and when we put it together we found it to be very strong and sterdy, doesnt look like cheap furntiure!! Very pleased now we just need the baby to come so we can really try it out!!
