It IS a good product, IF you build correctly Like the title says, it is indeed a good product IF YOU BUILD IT CORRECTLY.People have complained of it being "wobbly". Same thing happened to me, and I was so angry. The thing is, the cam klix that are being used MUST line up properly so the quik fit dowels fall down in the hole and lock so they can be tighten properly, otherwise, you will NEVER get anything to close and fit together snug and it will rock side to side.The drawer slides. They DO fit properly but you must make sure you use a hammer (they provide a tool so you can bang the heck out of it without damaging the sliders) and it is a must to check and make sure they are ALL THE WAY IN. At first I figured "close enough" is good enough. NO. The drawers will not go in if they are not hammered in correctly! I had to go back and hammer them in right, when I picked it up I still noticed it was a little off - Hammer the ENTIRE thing. Once I did this, it was in all the way.The drawers do not fall out on me. I do not see how they would, unless they were put on top of the slides, instead of inside. I made that mistake when the slides were not in tightly. The drawers wouldn't fit inSIDE the slides (because.. they were not hammered in right) so I assumed they went on top of the slides. NO. They fit in the slides tightly and they do not come out easily.Knobs look nice to me. I don't find them cheap looking really. As long as you do not plan on abusing it they should be fine as they do screw in tightly.Drawers are pretty decent size, this is for an adult who didn't want to spend $400+ at another store for a dresser. It is being used for mostly everything I own, other than heavier things that I hang.This will be great for a kids room too. Yes the drawer bottoms are a cardboard, but you know if you treat the product right it should last quite a while. No one should be climbing in anything, whether its cheap or expensive, that isn't exactly smart or safe.It's $109 gang, it isn't going to be the best thing you have ever seen. But it is very good for the money, built right it comes out fantastic and it looks even better. 2 People are required for certain things. The directions are alright, my cousin built a lot of this and she figured it out without a problem.Size is very good by the way. I am 5'6" and the top is almost higher than my chest. 08/28/2010
Average Walmart Item The dresser looks great however the tracks in which the dresser drawers slide on are plastic which worries me. The bottoms of the drawers are cardboard which I have also had poor experiences with. Overall it's worth what I paid I suppose. 06/27/2009
5 Drawer Dresser As part of the South Shore bed set this is a great addition. Two person job for assembly, better directions would be nice. Could use better materials for the drawers, don't put too many items in them. I thought the drawers would be deeper and the dresser taller from the model picture. Overall nice look. 07/21/2009
The wood is much lighter than the picture I purchased this to match the headboard in my daughter's room. By looking at the picture, the wood knobs and top seemed very close in color. When I got it home and opened the box I was very surprised to find that the wood was about 3 shades lighter than it looks in the picture. Needless to say it didn't come close to matching so I had to return it. 03/08/2011
