Rated 4 out of 5 by CPADray Not easy to put together but good price point So I have put together a lot of particle board furniture in my life: bookcases, desks you name it. This one was by far the most time consuming and difficult of all of them to assemble. Once put together is seems quite sturdy and looks pretty good (for particle board furniture). For the price you can't really beat it though, so I suppose you just have to work a bit harder for it. 05/10/2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by flofoo Item is made out of compressed wood which makes the unit heavy for it's size. Also, if you are woman, it is difficult to install on your own b'cos the parts do not slip in together easily. My husband and I had to put the bookcase up together. Aesthetically, it looks good but there were a couple of chips on the shelf even though the box was not damaged and shelves were very well packaged. Would not recommend it to friends though... 04/13/2013
