Got what I wanted! For the price, I couldn't expect real wood, but this is a well-constructed piece of furniture that fits my needs exactly. My only complaints are that the instructions are small drawings, some of which are hard to see -- nothing written. Some small parts were missing, but I was able to improvise.It took me 3 and a half hours to unpack it, haul the pieces upstairs, and assemble it. Not bad for a 65-year-old grandmother!! 01/17/2011
I Give It 6 mos It is attractive. The draws underneath the unit are deep and wide for storage. However, it is not sturdy enough for my taste. I still have a 27" tube TV and I have to place the item right up against the wall for fear of it tipping over. This is a two man assembly job, so get help from a friend. The instructions are not that clear and a few screws were missing. This item is advertised as a TV stand and storage unit, however, on the first page of the instructional booklet, the booklet warns consumers NOT to place a TV on the unit. If it didn't cost so much to send it back, I would have asked for a refund. Unfortunately, I do not live close to a Walmart store to bring it back myself. I give it 6 mos. I hope I am wrong. 09/10/2010
It is a good value for the price I bought this needing a TV stand, storage was an extra. Solidly built with cams and prcessed wood members. Draws are ok for light duty, definitely not kids or heavy storage. This is a starter level unit and for this area it is solid and nicely finished. Not may other parts with the same finish is a drawback. As a spare room or low use item it is perfect. Would recommend. 03/02/2012
Perfect for Grandson's room I love this. It was fairly easy to assemble. It is perfect for my grandsons room to put his tv and dvd player and his click and start game on. The two drawers are perfect for extra storage for his blankets and game cartridges. I am so glad that I bought this. Its very strudy as well. 01/03/2012
