Cheap, Cheap, Cheap The black coloring is chipped around the edges and they didn't extend the laminate on the shelves all the way so the particle board shows through. You can also tip it over with one hand. This is about the same quality as the $40 5-shelf bookcases. 10/13/2008

Cheap Bookshelf Item was not as described. Many problems including peices did not fit together properly, cracked and mishapen shelves and blemishes throughout. This makes the overall look very cheap and substandard. No flush corners and I do not recommend this peice and am considering a return. 04/27/2008
