dont forget the frame! only issue I had was that it should really go with the drawer frame. My daughter has a standard frame with boxspring and mattress and its a bit high for the headboard. Otherwise, beautiful!! 06/18/2010
Just what we expected We bought this headboard with the matching bed (not happy with the bed), but the headboard was just what I was expecting. Went together easily, probably took 30 minutes to build. Looked just like pictured and feels solid. I think its a bit expensive for a few sheets of painted, pressed board and a piece of black card board (the back panel), but we are happy with it. 05/13/2009
Pros.Nice looking, nice design, good price. Easy to put together, fits metal bed frame with one mattress perfectly.Cons.The color was stated as chocolate and it is a very dark chocolate almost black. I did not receive all of what was pictured on the web site. The picture on the web site shows that the headboard has blonde or light brown attachments on the legs that can be used to attach the headboard to a bed frame . My headboard legs had no such parts. Instead I received two small "L" brackets that are not sturdy enough to hold the headboard secure to a bed frame. Nowhere in the instructions are these attachments mentioned, but the "L" brackets are. The same headboard in the black color is shown with just "L" brackets on the legs. So now I wonder did I receive a black headboard even though the box said it was chocolate.The two vertical dividers that creates the book case have four wood toggles that should be glued to prevent the dividers from coming out if the headboard is moved.The price is good if you get what is pictured on the web site. With the missing leg attachment itshould have cost a little less than I paid. 10/20/2011
good buy for the money, it's great, and looks great too. I installed and set of three LED puck lights into the book case compartments during assembly(it's easier that way, trust me) and it lights up the bed very nicely, good mood lighting effect. looks a lot richer than you would think. 05/25/2010
