Great bang for your buck I bought this unit a couple of months ago to use in my workshop. I figured that it being made by Sony it wouldn't be too poorly made. After wading through the owners manual I fired it up. I have only one thing to say. Wow!This little Sony unit can really put out the sound.It might be a little light on bass for some folks, but it's great for my purposes. With a AM/FM radio and a three CD changer thrown in too, it's hard to find another unit that comes close to this little Sony in value. Highly recommended. 06/22/2009
Great Stereo! I was given this stereo to use in my middle school music classroom this year. It was a welcome upgrade from a fairly old boom box. All I can say is WOW!!!The sound quality is great - even on the radio, in a classroom surrounded by concrete! This stereo puts out enough sound that it was used with an iPod for a school dance! Yes, it even has the audio input jack for your mp3 player!The only thing I wish it had, was a way to connect the speakers to the main unit, making it more portable. Just to meet my own needs.For the price, you will not find a better stereo. Really. Highly Recommended! 06/28/2009
THE BEST ....WITHOUT A DOUBT ! This small stereo unit, is simply the best small shelf unit imaginable for the price! The sound is incredible. Easy to set-up, small/space saver unit, that can blast the ROOF off of your house.I was so impressed with this stereo, I went to our local store and purchased another one for my friend for her Birthday. (I was sort of embarassed about continuing to brag to her about just how great the sound quality is from this SONY- without her being able to appreciate the quality of this unit herself).Can't imagine comparing this stereo to any other in it's price range. I'm in Love I purchased this stereo on8/17/09 and I didn't connect it right away, but when I did I was knocked off of my feet by the sound quality, it is fantastic. It is not too big and not too small.(the stereo) My recommendation: if you are looking for a stereo that is not expensive and has great sound quality this is the one, take my word for it. 09/01/2009
