The Sony Mini Hi-fi Music Shelf System charges, plays, and controls your iPod or iPhone. This Sony Mini Hi-fi Music Shelf System is a complete mini audio system that's still small enough to store out of the way when not in use, or up on a convenient shelf. The Sony Music Shelf System is more than just a stereo and speakers for your iPhone/iPod player, it also sports and CD player, an AM/FM radio, and an alarm clock. The Sony Shelf System has a single-disc CD player with CD-R/RW and MP3 playback capability that accommodates not only factory-pressed CD-Audio discs, but also consumer-recorded CD-R and CD-RW discs, you can play any CD around with this hi fi stereo system. This Sony Music Shelf System also features an AM/FM tuner with 30 station presets, and includes a remote control.

It doesn't get distorted at high volume.The sub woofer is POWERFUL, the speaker wire could be a bit longer, but the ~4 feet is enough for me.I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a stereo system, with good quality sound.The radio function is exponential! From where I live, (Londonderry,NH) I can pick up a station roughly 60+ miles away, almost crystal clear (Boston,MA)This product is VERY WELL worth the money!!!! 12/25/2010
Rated 5 out of 5Â by MVWoolner Sony Mini Stereo System Gets Full Marks First, the price (thank you, Walmart) was the best I found, making it a real value.Second, the system was very complete and high quality. The documentation gave step-by-step illustrated instructions for setup, and the user manual was complete and easy to understand, being written, I think, by someone who speaks English as a first language. The components when assembled have visual appeal, and the controls are easy to use. The specs were right on, and I would have expected to pay the same price just for the speaker system. Sound quality is excellent, both high range and bass, much better than I would have expected. The iPod dock works well, and the inclusion of the remote was a nice touch. We have been using it for about a month, and it has performed flawlessly. I went with Sony because of the reputation, and have not been disappointed. 12/20/2010

I had to reorder for another stereo since my first one never made it to the site store but I tell you it was worth the wait for them to send me another one directly to the house. The sound is great I hear it blasted and it sounds great through out the whole house. Bass and all. I connect my zune to the pc input and it sounds clear no problem whatsoever with the sound at all. Just put the volume all the way up on the zune and control it from the radio volume but for it to sound just as good as if you have the radio, cd, or ipod connected make sure you use and actual audio male to male connector and it will be banging. Great for a party. Highly recommended for the price you won't regret it at all. Especially since it's on sale now for 159 plus tax. 12/15/2010

I was looking at a different one at walmart but when I saw this one had a sub woofer I was so pumped and decided to get it. I've had it for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it ! The sound is awesome and can get sooo loud and the bass is amazing. Perfect for parties. And radio, CD player, and iPod player are great. I was planning on keeping the stereo I bought for a really long time and this one I'm deff keeping ! Couldn't ask for a better stereo at a better price ! 11/19/2010
