I owned a Sandisk Sansa 8gb until I watered by mistake. I took a chance on the Sony because I was in a hurry and it was in stock. It turned out very well for me. I feel the quality is much better and I love the SenseMe feature. SanseMe puts all your song into a category such as Night, Upbeat, Mellow, Energetic, and a few more. It also will change the night to morning or afternoon it all depends on the time of day. I have owned it for about 6 months and it has never frozen up!! 03/31/2012
