    The lights are the only downfall. As other reviewers have said, the lights show through the plastic from the top of the controller, down through to the Select button. It's *really* noticeable when it's charging and all 4 lights are blinking. But, it's not distracting when you just have a single player light when you're actually playing. Easily ignored.Because I know this may bother some people, and it was a surprise to me at first... I knocked it down one star in the expectations category. That's the only 'downfall' to this excellent controller. The 'Deep Red' color is slick. 08/31/2010
