The Sony Baby Call Nursery Monitor lets you keep an eye on the baby even when you are away from your baby. It has a 900 MHz monitor with receiver that helps you keep track of babys activities. The Sony 900mhz Nursery Monitor features the reliable five sound sensor activity lights that alerts you when the baby is making sounds or when the receiver is out-of-range or when the battery gets low. Use the belt clips to attach the baby monitor to your belt, and you can go on with your usual chores. The 900 MHz technology of the Sony Baby Call Nursery Monitor increases the coverage area, letting you work at further distances from your baby.
The Sensor baby monitor has 27 channels that use FM transmission system with channel selector to locate the clearest channel that is free from interference. To eliminate extraneous background noise, and enhance clear transmission, the baby monitor uses voice activation mode.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GoPSULions Works well - love the voice activation Bought this originally to monitor my inlaws when they moved in with us. Now is used for my grandchildren. Works great and love the voice activation mode. My only complaint is that it can trigger out of range warnings caused by other electronics - like a cordless phone. I must move my cordless off my nightstand when I place the monitor there. But now that i know the cause, its no big deal. Would definitely buy a newer model if they release one that is digital and does not have these issues. 09/15/2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by dwhj Horrible reception We can't even sleep because the stupid monitor cracks a loud noise all the time. We are less than 20 feet from our sons room. It is 10x worst when it is not plugged into a power source. The battery went bad after 1-2 months and we sent it back. 3 months later we got a new battery in the mail. Worst decision to buy this! 09/04/2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Brownstone We bought this monitor to use in our Brownstone for when we're down 2 flights from where our baby sleeps. It works quite well considering that even our wireless internet router often has trouble transmitting through the levels- so transmitting anything is tricky.We also find the voice activation feature to be great- we don't hear the transmitter at all until the baby cries or something else in the room makes a sound. We used it for the about 3 months straight without charging and on average have the receiver on for about 4 hours a day. It's been very reliable and I think it's a great value as well. I also love the belt clip feature- super handy and makes you really only need one receiver... 08/07/2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by fromPA The Out of Range Alarm makes me want a refund I've been having the same range alarm issues as several other people now that I am looking at reviews. When I registered for the product, I went off the recommendation of my SIL who has the same one and raved about it. She has not had the same issues I have, obviously. There have been a couple instances where it has woken me up in the middle of the night, gone off when I turn my microwave on (what year is it? I shouldn't have those problems), or for no apparent reason. My son is in the bedroom next to ours, so I know it's not out of range. 07/25/2011
