    great sub I put this sub behind the seat of my wrangler and it fits perfectly. I'm firing this sub with the Dual 300 2/1 bridged. I bought the lower end amp since it could easily be stolen or rained in in my Jeep but it hits hard and sounds great. You wont get any super low Bass out of this box(box too small), But it will do pretty well with some of my old school rap stuff, I think however it is made for tight crisp bass. I think if you listen to all genres of music this is the set for you. 05/07/2009
    low quality sound I purchased this enclosed sub and hooked it up to an amp that supplied enough power to run it at the recommended rms. Intially after hooking it up to my car I was impressed as this was the first time I had a subwoofer with my car stereo system. However after listening to it for a couple songs I noticed that it was not hitting the low bass and was making a bad attempt at even trying. I tried to fix this by turning up the volume as I thought maybe I didn't have it high enough. The result was a louder sounding bass that hurt my ears a little bit because of the volume and was still not hitting the low bass notes. After doing more research I found that the low frequency hertz is only 35. A sub should hit lows around 20 hertz and this is a big time difference. I returned this sub and hooked up a single 12" pioneer in its place. I bought the box and pioneer sub at the same walmart and it was only around $10 more. I just had to screw the sub into the box my self which wasn't hard. The pioneer sub hits the low notes and gives quality bass even at the lowest volume. This is also due to the higher sensitivity rating on the sub which means it is more efficient at lower volumes which equates to better sound. Overall I would recomend steering clear of the sony sub and go with a pioneer instead you will be impressed at the difference. I know I was 01/17/2010

    Pretty Good I got this sub and the 4 Channel Sony amplifier that walmart sells and although it sounds pretty good I was still expecting it to be a little louder. To get it to hit really hard I had to turn the bass boost and the gain all the way up. My friend has two sony 10" subs and a pioneer amp that would blow this thing out of the water but as long as your not looking to shake everything within a block of your car these are pretty good. I might suggest getting a better amp that could be part of my problem because this thing is massive and looks like it could do a lot more damage.I would suggest this if you want a good amount of bass and dont want to pay too much but if you are looking to blow people away this wont do it. 12/12/2008
