Unbelievably Great For the last 40 or so years I've averaged 6-7 reads a year. If your reading habits are similar, then only a few times in your life have you come upon a set of works that truly grips you tight with no release. For me (and many others) "The Song of Ice and Fire" does just that. In addition to an unfathomably deep storyline, Martin is beyond brilliant with his descriptions and characterizations. With this massive set, "The Song of Ice and Fire", I've reached my yearly book quota in a month. Quite possibly the greatest story ever told... well, to avoid appearing blasphemous, the second Greatest Story Ever Told. 03/27/2012
