This item was delivered to my local store for pick-up. It is light weight, easy to place on Pool and has raised the water temperature from around 82 degrees to 94 degrees today! I know that it will extend our swimming season and it makes the pool very pleasurable now, the pool water is lovely and welcoming in the evening hours.

Great Product!

I've had it for a weekk and my pool temp has already gone up 8 degrees (winter time). Easy to lay out and shape for a custom shaped pool. Just not sure how long it will last in the hot las vegas summers.

works as advertised

I was impressed with the product, plastic sheeting was thicker than expected, and had more weight than other sheeting. Product was rolled for shipping rather than compression folded, this made 1st installation a breeze.

Have used product one week, and have retained (est) 10 degrees warmer water than friends uncovered pool.

I used the ship-to-store and had free shipping (saved $40+).

Pool solar blanket

I just bought a home with a pool (my 1st inground pool) in September in Florida. The pool was great when I moved in but quickly started to cool with the falling temps. I bought a solar system and that warmed it great in October but even that wasn't enough in November (average temp was in the mid 70's). So I decided to get a cover. I heard they were a pain to put on and take off, and didn't make much difference but that hasn't been true. It's December and helped by a bit warmer weather, and the cover, I just had a pool party today December 4th) temp was 81 pool was 84. The pool cover makes the biggest difference in slowing down the pool from cooling (especially overnight) where I would lose 6-8 degrees in a night I only lose 3-4 now. So combined with the FL climate, the solar, and now cover, I should be able to have a very long pool season (10 months with no electric or propane costs). The cover also keeps my pool a little cleaner, slows down evaporation, and looks great once I cut it to fit (which only takes a few minutes with a razor). I'm getting a reel and hoping it lasts a long time (3+ years), if not I can see it being worth buying a new one every couple years. To note the "5 year warranty" is prorated and you get almost nothing by  year 5 (not much years 3-4). I bought the 14x28 which was about 1ft smaller than my pool for $68. This cover does get pricier with size....

Very helpful cover for very little $$$

It's October and the nighttime temps are in the 50's and 60's, but the daytime sun does a great job of heating our pool to the high 80's. The solar blanket keeps the water warm overnight so that the heat pump, which is set to 85, does not even come on.

It paid for itself!

Only had it a short time, it is a bit over sized but better than being undersized. I'll be able to easily trim off the extra to fit my pool. does what I expected it to do.

cover appears well made,time will tell. Is a bit wider than 16 ft. which makes rolling up a bit difficult,otherwise I would rate a five.

Pleasantly surprised in the quality of product. Met my expectations and more. Would recommend for anyone trying to add time to your swimming season. Great for kids, they just need a little more warmth and there all in, if you get my pun. Great product for price and believe me I checked. Would highly recommend.

Great for a novice in this area.

These don't work, first off one of them had a pin hole in it so it never held air, they blow around on the pool and even out of the water. Stick to a conventional solar blanket.
