The Snuza Halo Baby Monitor is a useful device for all new parents. It works by alerting you with an audible alarm if your baby's breathing is weak or falls to less than eight movements per minute. The baby breathing monitor can b e easily attached to your baby's diaper before you put him or her down to sleep. It is a small, light, and portable monitor that is very easy to use. It is a battery baby monitor that is not restricted by conditions such as cords, wires or pads. The monitor will gently vibrate if no baby movement is detected for a period of more than 15 seconds. Once the baby is roused, the baby movement monitor reverts back to monitoring mode.

Piece of mind is PRICELESS! This little monitor has allowed my husband and I to sleep soundly ever since our baby was born. This is my second child, I didn't have a movement monitor with my first. With him, for the first year or so, I would only cat-nap for a few hours at a time, waking to check the baby every so-often. This time around I can easily sleep though the night knowing that if a problem does arise I will be alerted and have time to take action. This is the best baby purchase we made and worth every penny. Plus, it works GREAT with cloth diapers! That was a worry of mine since they are thicker then the paper things most people use, but to my relief, it works great! 02/07/2012
Saved my son's life I use the Snuza every night when my 4 month old son goes to sleep for the night. We put it on his diaper after his bath and leave it on until he wakes up in the morning. We have had 0 false alarms in 2 months. The Snuza can be used anywhere he sleeps that doesn't have any other movement - so crib, pack and play, bassinette, and floor are all fine. It won't work in a car, swing, rocker, or when I am holding him because it will sense the external movement even if he stops moving.Last night, the Snuza alarm woke me out of a deep sleep and I ran to my son's crib (it is in our bedroom with us). My son was gray and cool when I found him. Scariest 5 minutes of my life. We finally got him to come around and fully wake up. We then took an ambulance to the ER and have follow up appointments with specialist doctors to figure out why this happened.I am a first time mom, and everyone made fun of me for getting the Snuza and said that it wasn't necessary and was "overkill" but I cannot imagine what would have happened without it. It absolutely saved my son's life, and if I had any way of knowing that in advance, I would have paid any amount of money humanly possible for it.I was also incredibly skeptical of all of the reviews on other websites about people finding their children and how the Snuza saved their children's lives. I thought that they were all Snuza employees or paid by Snuza to write those reviews. I am a true believer now. What happened to us last night was completely surreal.Recommendations to Snuza for improvements: the alarm should be louder and it could use a handheld device for parents so parents can walk away from the baby and still be able to monitor movements via the handheld.But seriously ... thank you Snuza. ._. wish i could give it zero stars well i turned this on 2/9/12 the day i got it from fedex!! i wouldnt turn back off! than it went off for no reason! i took the battery out (which was hard) and put it back in to find the battery was going dead. TOOK IT BACK! DON'T BUY!! 02/11/2012
for peace of mind Our little one has reflux and has had issues with choking at night, even with medication and elevation. Our worat fear was that something would happen and she would quit breathing. We weren't getting much rest before purchasing our snuza. We've had it for close to 2 months now and really couldn't be more satisfied. Thankfully the alarm has only sounded once due to it coming loose from her diaper. I recommend using a stiffer diaper for best results, although thinner ones will work if velcrowed tightly. I recommend this to everyone for peace of mind because so far it has been really reliable. I've not had any issues with the battery running low as of yet. 04/08/2012
