Rated 5 out of 5 by sirodsivad Dehydrator We use our Dehydrator for Deer Jerky; I've made 2 batches so far and this thing is great! Before we were using a dehydrator with no temp control. This one has the temp control and I think that's the key. At this time I am very please with the function; however the trays do seem very flemsy when I wash them. Other than that we're really happy with this purchase. I'll try tomatoes this summer! 12/18/2009

My 1st one was only 300watts this one is 500 watts so cooks faster. Like this one better as the heating element & fan are on top so it stays cleaner. Highly recommend it !! 12/18/2009

Just a little note, though- the directions tell you to dry fruit and veggies at well over 119 degrees F- which will kill most of the good stuff in it. 12/14/2009
