There is no way to refill the catnip in the toy.

It&#39;s a solid ball of catnip. No refill needed.

cannot refill.  It is a hard ball made of compressed catnip.  My cats do not like it.

All my cats have be obsessed with these cat nip balls ever since I first discovered them a few years ago. Licking, rolling, kicking, biting, you name it. Of all the cat nip toys I've bought or made, this is their all time favorite. They go crazy as soon as I show it to them.
*TIP* To keep the ball fresh & dry in between uses, save & store the ball in the plastic packaging it came in w/ that little packet of silica gel (or whatever that is.) The packet will remove moisture and keep the ball fresher longer. :)

Best cat toy EVER!

I checked reviews for this product before I bought it online and the best nickname somebody came up with for this ball is "the make-out ball". So, I figured it was worth a try. The nickname certainly held true. Both of my cats are more interested in this ball than any other ball toy, but it is not a 'cure all' for a bored cat. Once I manage to find it again (under the couch or in the corner) and roll it past a cat, they are immediately drawn to it and either bat it around for a while on their own or just lay there and make out with it. I often don't stick around long enough to see how long they play with it, but is a solid investment to the cat toy arsenal. It actually gets used unlike all the cheap little plastic jingle balls. I was concerned about a possible mess but found it to remain solid. I imagine if any bits of catnip do come off of it, the cats eat the pieces anyways. There is no major odor from the ball either.

My Older Cat LOVED this

I have a spoiled, lazy, self-entitled, fat cat who's too busy eating or sleeping to play with anything...except this! He covets this toy so much we refer to it as "the precious". He's had several of them. His first one broke when it was stepped on. The second, after many months of being profusely slobbered on became gummy-like and covered with loose fur. His last one, he's had for over 6 months and is still in good condition. We recently moved to a new state and my local Walmart here does not carry them. So glad to see I can order them online! His bad attitude would probably be unbearable if he didn't have his precious.

Best Cat Toy EVER

I wasn't sure how my cat would respond to this catnip toy. Let me just tell you, he LOVES it!!! He plays w/ it and ends up licking it. I will bat it around to get him to play. Good investment.
Too bad I broke it, it was near the door and didn't notice when I opened it, crushed this in half. I saved it and hope he still plays w/ it. Get one and let the fun begin! Going to purchase a new for him.
