The units look and feel like quality products.The light assembly sits loose in the bowl, so it is easy to remove if you want to turn the unit on or off. Yes, the unit has an On/Off switch, which is a nice touch.Some of the little pieces of glass that make up the exterior of the bowl are a cool blue, so the unit as a whole has a little bluer cast than shown in the photos on the web site. Also, be aware, this unit incorporates a single LED, so it is for accent lighting only.Overall, very happy with the purchase. Quality product. 07/15/2010
