Customer Product Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5★ by 8reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5★ by a nice little machine This machine was a gift for my granddaughter andfor the price I paid for this machine, I was surprised at how good it is. It stitched very well and was very quiet. Of course, it is far from a high end sewing machine but, if you need something basic, I would recommend this machine. 12/10/2010
Rated 1 out of 5★ by A very annoying product i bought this sewing machine from kmart and it came straight from the manufacture and it had rust on the part the spool goes on and they said it was brand new also the compartment that the bobbin goes in was broke and missing a screw this was my 1st sewing machine too, i took it back and was going to get another one and looked at it and that one was rust too 11/27/2010
Rated 5 out of 5★ by best ever Melanie Swinson59674Very excited about getting a wonderful sewing machine. I do like to make things in my spare time. It would be nice to make table clothes for my scentsy tables. 08/26/2010
Rated 4 out of 5★ by not bad at all This was my very first sewing machine and i think it was quite a good starter machine. I recommend getting a simple machine like this when youre still a beginner and dont really know the basics to sewing with a machine . its been almost 4 years now and i still find it quite useful. it may not be the best one out there, but it sure helps beginners gain knowledge on how to properly use sewing machines and what they can do. 12/10/2010
Rated 5 out of 5★ by I've come home again This is my third Singer sewing machine. Learned to sew at my mother's instruction on a Singer. She had two during the duration of my instruction. I've previously brought new and owned two. Have sewed off and on for 50 years. As far as a sewing machine goes, you can't beat a Singer. I've been without a machine for 20 years due to lifestyle. Found I had a need for one more and more.I couldn't pass up the price. I am extremely happy. 07/03/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Best Machine I got this machine for my Birthday, and found it very easy to use, I would recommend this machine to any of my friends. 08/28/2011
Rated 1 out of 5★ by good start, bad, quick end This is my first machine, and i learned a fair amount off of it, and had a good time doing so, but after about four months the timing is off and i am constantly breaking upper threads. the frustration factor far outweighs the reasonable price. 09/18/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Great Basic Sewing Machine I have been sewing over 50 years and bought this machine to see why so many people "dis" the brand.First thing I did was to follow the steps in the manual and tried each feature of the machine.Next, I hemmed a pair of jeans using a jeans needle. SWEET! No hesitation as the machine hummed right along. At the flat-felled seams, I did use a "hump-jumper" to keep the presser foot level as the machine stitched through 12 layers of denim (this gadget is also needed when I use my expensive sewing machines). The pressure adjustment for the presser foot is a plus for any sewing machine let alone an inexpensive one. This adjustment allows flawless stitching of sheer as well as thick fabrics. The 1507 is light weight should you need to carry it and comes with a sturdy cover.A very good buy for a beginner as well as the "seasoned" sewing enthusiast. 12/02/2011
